Elaiza es un grupo de tres chicas formado por Ela, cantante compositora y pianista, Yvonne Grünwald, al acordeón y Natalie Plöger al contrabajo. Su viaje hasta Copenhague ha sido una auténtica proeza, teniendo que enfrentarse a más de 2,200 candidatos este año en la preselección nacional de Alemania en sus inicios, consiguiendo un pase a la final y después el apoyo del público frente a sus últimos siete rivales.
Consiguieron el premio a la mejor nuevo grupo musical en Women of the World celebrado en 2013 en Frankfurt. Su música, con la combinación de sus instrumentos, combina el folk del este de Europa con los nuevos sonidos modernos.
